The Welfare League of Santa Rosa
The Welfare League Thrift Shop, located at 126 Fourth Street, is a destination stop for bargain hunters and fashionistas alike. This little shop is well stocked with gently used clothing and accessories, house-wares, antiques and collectibles, jewelry, linens, fabrics, books, and records.
The Welfare League, a volunteer organization founded in 1939, uses the revenues generated from donations and sales in the Thrift Shop to support their many programs that assist the needy of Sonoma County. Provided services include clothing for children and adults, car seats, bicycle helmets, scholarships for SRJC students in health related fields of study, and layettes for newborns in local hospitals. Items handmade by volunteers are knitted hats for children and cancer patients, and little dresses for little girls. Over 800 individuals received services through these programs in 2009.
Additionally, Christmas Unlimited, the League’s flagship program provides new clothing, toys, and books to over 2000 children annually.

Donations
We gladly accept gently worn clothing and house hold items. We accept donation in our Thrift Shop Monday through Saturday 10am to 3pm. At this time we do not offer pick up services for donations.
Resale values - This is merely a guideline to assist you, the donor, in determining values for your own items. You must take into consideration the quality and condition of your items when determining a value. Federal law requires that all items be in good condition to qualify for a tax deduction.
